Dean Forehand joined TSG Advisors – Public Safety in 2026, bringing experience in public sector program management, emerging technologies, and resilience initiatives. He supports clients through research, project implementation, stakeholder engagement, and strategic analysis, helping public safety agencies navigate complex programs and technology-driven initiatives.
Prior to joining the firm, Dean managed a portfolio of resilience and infrastructure grants for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Office of Resilience and Coastal Protection. In that role, he worked closely with county and municipal governments across Florida, providing guidance on grant compliance, procurement requirements, project execution, and program evaluation. His experience includes coordinating with public sector stakeholders, conducting project reviews, and supporting initiatives designed to strengthen community resilience and long-term infrastructure planning.
Dean also brings experience supporting public safety technology initiatives, where he assisted with client engagement, product demonstrations, and market development efforts for cloud-based emergency response solutions. His work provided valuable insight into the evolving public safety technology landscape and the operational needs of emergency communications professionals.
In addition, Dean contributed to artificial intelligence research at Florida State University, supporting the evaluation and refinement of AI-driven tools and data analysis processes. This experience strengthened his understanding of emerging technologies and their practical application in complex operational environments.
Dean earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida State University and an Associate of Arts degree from North Florida College.
